Non-profits

At first glance, non-profits might seem different from corporations, as their stated goal it to NOT make a profit. However, all non-profits are established for a mission; therefore, their premise and purpose must be closely analyzed. Non-profits can be formed for any social or political purpose, so they are inherently biased.

Often, teachers recommend that students use ".org" sites; however, a .org just simply means that it is identifying as an organization. Organizations are formed for specific purposes and missions and therefore are no less biased than a ".com."
